PRIVACY POLICY
1. What we collect
- Early-access form: name, shop/licensee name, email, and — if you choose to provide them — phone number, state, and FFL type.
- Server logs: like nearly every website, our server records IP address, browser user-agent, and pages requested, used for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies and trackers: this website sets no cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as a technical consequence of serving the font files.
2. How we use it
- To contact you about early access, pilots, and the launch of the service — the thing you asked us to do when you submitted the form.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. When the software service launches
Subscribing dealers will store business records in the service — including customer information their own compliance obligations require. For that data we act as a service provider processing records on the dealer's behalf: each dealer's environment is isolated, the dealer controls and can export their records, and we access them only to operate and support the service. A subscriber data agreement will govern the details at launch.
4. Retention
Early-access signups are kept until the early-access program ends or you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Server logs rotate on an ordinary short schedule.
5. Your choices and rights
Email info@raincrossffl.com to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted, or to be removed from the list — we honor these requests without drama. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, and we honor the rights the law provides (know, delete, correct, non-discrimination) through the same email address.
6. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored outside the web root on access-controlled infrastructure, and signup notifications are sent only to the business owner. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat this data the way we treat our own compliance records.
7. Children
This website and the service are for federally licensed firearms businesses. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it. Material changes affecting people already on the list will be announced by email.
